I’ve been writing and working on my craft for over 15 years but haven’t published anything. I’m a bit of a perfectionist. I’ve completed several novels and a few short stories in that time-frame but nothing I felt was commercial ready. Until now.

I’m finally feeling confident enough in my writing and story-telling to work on my debut novel. It’s the first in an epic fantasy trilogy. My goal is to have them published sometime in 2024. Check-in here for updates!

Blurb:

All sentient beings create emotional connections with others called threads. Only the naergoth can see these threads. Not only see them but use them to communicate emotions with each other.

Neia is a researcher who specializes in threads. After losing this ability in an accident, a first in naergoth history, Neia struggles to function in a society where she can’t communicate the same as everyone else; where all of her relationships are now empty. Even her decades-long career is gone. With nothing holding her underground, she decides to join the few naergoth living on the surface.

Neia has a low tolerance for surface-dwellers, especially humans. When another naergoth is accused of murdering a wealthy human, in a way no naergoth would use, Neia wants to help. Finding the killer would be easy if she could still see threads. Instead, she’s filled with nothing but doubts, lots of pressure, and too little time to deal with them.
