Epic fantasy is my first love, but sometimes I want to explore a new world without the epic battles. I also enjoy reading murder mysteries and thought it would be great to read about an amateur sleuth solving crimes in a high fantasy world. That was the premise for my debut novel Honor Bound.
Book 1
Neia lost everything when she lost her people’s ability to see threads. And the damn haze, a side-effect from the accident, was a constant reminder of that loss. Moving to the surface should have meant fewer interactions with others. But a life-debt couldn’t be ignored, not even if it was to a human.
Borgen had a murder to solve and didn’t trust the other judges. So he turned to Neia, the smartest person he knew.
Everyone else he knew was human, so...
All Neia wanted was to be left alone. But honor demanded she help.
Finding the killer would have been easier if the haze hadn’t started acting strange. Or if Borgen wasn’t having an existential crises. Between a human youngling Borgen had foisted on her and a nosy zanari that kept showing up, she’d be lucky to ever enjoy solitude again.

I write in several genres of fantasy: epic, cozy, and mystery. My debut novel, Honor Bound, falls in the fantasy mystery/cozy mystery genres.
No Romance: If you're looking for enemies to lovers, slow burn, or any other romance plot lines, then I am not the author for you. I enjoy reading a good romance, but it's not something I write.
No Grimdark: While my characters go through struggles and traumas, I do not write dark and gritty scenes, excessive violence, or morally grey characters.
