I've been writing as a hobby since high school but didn't get serious about my craft until 20 years ago, when I joined a small critique group. As a mother of three, that was my 'me time.' A place and time I could talk to adults about a shared passion that didn't involve kids (not that I don't love talking about my kids).

We met monthly for 15 years, which allowed me to hone my craft and find my voice. Once my youngest was grown and on his own, I decided to take my writing public.

I love reading epic fantasy (the bigger the book, the better). But sometimes I wanted to get lost in another world without the threat of world-ending danger. I also enjoy reading cozy mysteries and wanted to combine the two genres. That was the premise for my debut novel, Honor Bound, is the first book in the Naergoth Mystery series.
